The Faculty of Architecture at the University of Petra actively engaged in the Seventh International Jordanian Architectural Conference, organized by the Jordanian Engineers Association at the Landmark Hotel in Amman under the theme "Architecture and Artificial Intelligence."

Faculty members, administrative staff, and students from the University of Petra's Faculty of Architecture and Design contributed to various conference sessions, exploring the advancements of artificial intelligence in architecture and its impact on design and urban development.

During the conference's opening ceremony, Engineer Fidaa Al-Hanbali, a faculty member in the University of Petra's Architecture Department, was honored for her significant contributions as part of the conference's preparatory committee.

Engineer Rowan Khatib, representing the University of Petra's Architecture Department, presented a collaborative research paper highlighting the critical role of innovative technological solutions in enhancing smart transportation in Jordan and promoting sustainable urban development.

Dr. Amer Al-Joukhdar, Dean of the University of Petra's Faculty of Architecture and Design, emphasized the pivotal role of such events in fostering academic collaboration and sharing expertise among professionals in the architecture and design field. He underscored the importance of these gatherings in advancing the architectural sector and fostering synergy among members of both the academic and professional communities.
